Spread Love 2Day Campaign
The Brief
Being based in Melbourne, the Kick team had to adapt during some of the world’s most intense covid-19 pandemic lockdowns in 2020 and 2021. To keep spirits up in the agency and across their communities, they wanted to put their creative skills to use for the greater good. The question was how could they inject more kindness, joy and love into the world?
The Result
The Kick team wanted the messaging, visuals and overall vibe of Spread Love 2Day to be clear and punchy — straight to the point. To support this, Spread Love incorporated a light, bright colour palette that would pop in any setting set alongside eye-catching shapes and the universally understood and appreciated love heart. The messaging was crafted to be simple, convincing and practical. Participation and uptake needed to be made easy, and it was. We also took this approach with the intention of upping the project’s ability to go viral, while putting smiles on faces.
As with most things during this time, Spread Love 2Day was conceived via video chats, emails and phone calls from our home offices, lounge rooms and even bedrooms. This project uplifted the Kick team and certainly did spread a whole lot of love.
